Koh Chang Marine Park

Koh Chang national marine park was created in 1982 as a national park. It is also an island group of about 46 islands with the biggest island Koh Chang which actually is the second largest after Phuket. Visiting Koh Chang national marine park you are offered some of the best opportunities for snorkeling. The area of Koh Chang natioanl marine park is thought to be with more than 70% undisturbed rainforest and perhaps is the best preserved in Thailand and even in all Southeast Asia.

The fauna that can be seen there includes wild pig, barking deer, stump-tailed macaque, small indian civet, javan mongoose. Except the ordinary diving for corals and underwater world that can be observed, you can practice wreck diving, as in the area there are wrecks from Royal Thai Navy and the French Navy left from the Indochinese War.
