Tham Takobi Cave

Tham Takobi Cave is located in the province of Tak, some 350 km /220 miles/ Northwest of Bangkok. Tham Takobi Cave is more than 7 km /4.3 miles/ in length and has 15 entrances. The cave is divided in 3 levels. Through the lowest level a small stream passes along the whole cave and it is possible to make a trip with a kayak.

This section of the cave is particularly suitable for the adventurers. Next level which is some 25 metres /83 feet/ above is the most popular part of the cave and this is the Tourist Cave where most people go. Further 25 metres above the Tourist Cave are the so called Bamboo Ladder Cave and the Bedding Cave.
