Chi River
Chi River with length of 765 km /480 miles/ is the longest river in Thailand. The Chi River rises in Phetchabun mountains range in Phetchabun province, Isan region. Chi river meets Mun river in Si Sa Ket province. Chi river is also a main source of water for agriculture in the region. One popular attraction around the banks of Chi River is the Chi River Beach located in Amphoe Muang, Yasothon province. This is natural sandy beach formed by the recede of waters during the dry season. The whole length of the beach is more than 2 km /1.3 miles/ and is very attractive place to relax or to have a short rest.
